This is a four page spread for Bernie Moreno Companies in the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper. I was responsible for creating the ads, as well as the laying out all the elements out in Indesign.
Bernie Moreno Companies is committed to being an essential part of the social and economic well-being of the community. One of the ways their dealerships do this is buy purchasing ad space in local programs. Below are some examples of ads I designed for various charity events.
Opening Your Cosmic Toolbox is a book about numerology, astrology, and name analysis. The cover is a collaboration with artist Rachel Buchan. Buchan’s original piece can be viewed at my Facebook page.
5.25 in x 8 in page size with 0.75 in outside margins and 0.5 inside margin. The type style used is 11pt Bookman Old Style typeface with 11pt leading for easy readability. Section headings are 13pt Bookman Old Style bold.
In addition to formatting the text for print, I also created numerous charts placed within the body copy.
8.5 in x 11 in flyer for the Canal Towpath Bar and Grille’s 2015 clam bake. The yellow color palette was inspired by the restaurant’s vibrant yellow sign.
Fat Kid Rules the World is an independent film based on the young adult novel by K.L. Going. The story focuses heavily on the underground teen punk/grunge scene of Seattle. I wanted the album to have a dirty grunge, art zine feel to it. The graphics on the CD itself are taken from the movie.
A charity that raises money for educational scholarships and for raising public awareness of the terrors of drunk driving. Emily was an artist, so I used Brush Script italic to capture that spirit. The bright red rose is one of the Foundations symbols.
