The Story

MOTHER’S DAY is a remake of the 1980’s horror, thriller film. After a bank robbery has gone wrong, three brothers, Izzak (Patrick Flueger), Addley (Warren Kole), and Johnny (Matt O’Leary) are on the run from the law. They attempt to hide out at their mother’s home only to discover it has been foreclosed. The house is currently occupied by the young couple Beth (Jaime King) and Daniel (Frank Grillo), who are hosting an birthday party in their basement. Soon the brother’s mother arrives to help them escape and teach the new owners a lesson.

Matt’s Character

Matt crashes into his first scene in MOTHER’S DAY. Johnny is the youngest of the sadistic Koffin brothers. It comes clear early on in the film that he has a bizarre relationship with his Mother and his sense of family loyalty is never ending, no matter the situation. Although Johnny slips in and out of consciousness throughout the film, his character is hugely influential. No Matter what, Johnny always knows: Mother. Knows. Best.
